WOW...that was an amazing experience. The plane ride up I was feeling very nervous with a churning stomach. Once at the right height everything happened really quickly, everybody exiting the plane in quick succession. My mind was racing, what the hell am I doing, I was in position and my buddy shouting lets go, a glance to the left at my cameraman and I certainly wasn't smiling and suddenly I was somersaulting though the ice cold clouds with a head rush and some choice words going though my mind. It seemed like forever but must only have been seconds. My buddy tapped me on the shoulder and I spread my arms wide,apparently plummeting at 120 miles an hour. The parachute was released and I was sucked back up again. I was wondering if anybody had been physically sick, I took some nice deep breaths and then started to relax, enjoying the stunning view of the countryside below me whist soaring. The sun glowing thorough the clouds on the horizons. My buddy pointing out landmarks and we practiced the landing manoeuvre. The ground got closer and closer, I put my hands at the back of my knees and lifted them as high as I could. In a split second I saw my cameraman and another guy running towards and felt my buddy running before we landed in a heap I the ground.. My family were all waving and cheering. An amazing experience I have no intentions of repeating

Fingers crossed the weather will hold out tomorrow-- Saturday 12th for the Tandem Skydive, as it was cancelled on August 31st due to the bad weather.
